Public seasonal or special events require application (with fee) and approval by City of Monroe Staff. Applications are available at the City of Monroe Building Counter (734-384-9186) at 120 East First Street. The fee structure is available here. Requirements are described in the Planning and Zoning Code Section 1269.25. Applications must be received at least sixty (60) days prior to the event. Those requests for City service assistance will be negotiated during the review of the application.apply
